This is not a love that is beautiful or stable. It is a journey through obsession, madness, self-destruction, and the growth that emerges at the very end. Zior Park bizarrely captures the darkness and twisted obsession inherent in this emotion, utilizing a gothic mise-en-scène and retro rock sound. The lyrics, which seem to pour out from the very bottom of the emotional spectrum, along with the sharp production, induce a strong, yet often unsettling, immersion in the listener.

As Zior Park himself revealed—like the anecdote of searching for and smelling hair in a drain out of longing—the pathological obsession of emotion is fully elevated into a musical statement. A BLOODSUCKER is a romance, but simultaneously a carnival of madness, obsession, and sorrow hidden under the name of love.

This is Zior Park's first ever LP release. The sound captured on vinyl once again expands his musical world.
